Judges Assistance Committee

Kansas Supreme Court Rule 640 established the Judges Assistance Committee to provide help to Kansas judges experiencing mental health, addiction, or other issues that may affect their quality of life or ability to perform their judicial duties.

Kansas Lawyers Assistance Program

Kansas Supreme Court Rule 206 established KALAP to provide services and support to lawyers, law students, and Kansas bar applicants struggling with mental health or substance use issues affecting their personal and professional lives.
